History
After 18 years as a general
adjuster, John E. Abbruzzese founded Mutual Adjustments, Inc. on the premise
that expert adjusting services could be provided at a reasonable cost. With the administrative and marketing assistance
of Kenneth R. Burgess, Mutual Adjustments, Inc. opened its doors for the first
time on February 21, 1996.
From
its humble beginnings in a basement office, Mutual Adjustments, Inc. has grown
to boast fully staffed property and casualty departments, whose friendly and
efficient service has made Mutual Adjustments, Inc. into one of the most
respected adjusting facilities in southern New England. Along the way, Mutual Adjustments, Inc. has
adapted itself to the fast-changing landscape of the insurance claims industry,
gaining NFIP Flood Certification, developing electronic communication
capabilities, and adding Spanish translation services to its repertoire of
offerings.
Despite
its rapid growth, however, Mutual Adjustments, Inc., has never lost sight of
the founding values that helped it to stand apart from the competition, and it
still aims to uphold, as it always has, the values of excellence, expedience,
and economy.
